N1 was a crappy rocket design from the start.
Buran was essentially a carbon copy of the US Space Shuttle, although it did have some perks such as a launch escape system and higher payload capacity. I'd bring back Buran if I had the choice, it would be beneficial to the modern Russian space agency, and if Crew Dragon fails, NASA and ESA astronauts can go to space on Buran to the ISS or something
