You know that CNN's ratings are higher than they've been in several years, right? Tripled since 2015. Like, they are smashing their records and closing in on Fox News. They have more viewers than NBC now.

Possibly, but individual anchor programs on the channel (Stelter's, Acosta's) have been suffering. When your main stories are about a man who isn't even in a political office and not about the Harris administration, you lose relevance. https://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/may-2021-ratings-cnn-is-top-10-cable-network-but-continues-to-shed-viewers-after-impressive-start-to-2021/479859/

Do you see on the article you linked where it says that Jim Acosta ranked number 1 on his weekend time period for the 25-54 age group? You haven't even read your own link, have you?

I don't know what to tell you - you guys try SO HARD to push the narrative that these ratings are dropping where they're really not and the irony is that your whining probably drives the ratings higher than anything else does! I've no idea who Jim Acosta is, but you talk about him so much that you advertise his branding for him.

I'll admit the meme is somewhat a hyperbole, but while Acosta's numbers are up, the channel as a whole is experiencing a -44% drop in average total viewers. I did bother to read the source and don't mind admitting that you are right on your point about Acosta.

Do you need me to post the graph again??? I hate going round in circles, I really do. CNN are having a great year and this is all wishful thinking on your part. You think they're not doing well because you want them to not do well and your buddies know how to tell you what you want to hear even when it's not true.

I'll admit it, you are correct. However, you want CNN to have a great year due to your personal bias. You know that. Don't try to hide behind the banner of nonpartisanship.
I played my data, you played yours. Anyone can use data to disprove or approve an argument. In the end, I don't want to convince you of anything. I just have my own opinions, and made a meme of them. We had best end this before it becomes a flame war. Thank you for not insulting me.

I have NO feelings about CNN one way or the other. I've NEVER watched it. Like most people under the age of about 48, I don't watch cable of any kind, I stream all my television - news and otherwise.

That's YOU GUYS. YOU are CNN's viewership. YOUR hatred of them spurns their viewership. I DON'T CARE, I'VE NEVER SEEN IT.

And you assume I have because they're your enemy and I'm your enemy so your imagination fills in the blanks. But your assumption is wrong and always has been.

And this is part of that! You're wrong now because your assumptions were wrong, and I'm trying to get you to ask yourself - what else have you been wrong about this whole time?

I acknowledge that my assumptions were wrong. However, as you criticize me for my hatred of CNN, you send more bad blood than I have ever sent the way of anyone in the media, government, or press. I do not wish any them harm, but I find them foolish. You make a hobby of harassing people on this site for their conservative comments, just angering people.
I do not complain when I see comments on this site I frown upon due to my own opinion, I live and let live. You are a common troll, trying to cause strife. Tarry here no longer.

And yet, YOU were the one, out of the two of us, that was wrong. What's that about?

"What that's about" is my natural ability to make errors as a human. I wasn't all wrong. We were both a little bit right and a little bit wrong. CNN is gaining ground and losing ground in different departments.
You want to make me look as stupid as possible because you are a bitter Internet troll. You spend almost all your energy on this site starting flame wars with conservatives. When I told you about CNN's average total viewer decrease of -44%, you ignored it. I acknowledged your data. You refuse to admit that you were anything but right, and that I was anything but wrong.
I will tell you squarely--your facts are correct (while not complete), but your tactics are dead wrong. You are instigating. (By the way, where do you get those news stories in your memes about extremist conservative stupidity? 'Credible news'? They're probably about as credible as Breitbart, except biased in your favor.)

No, I don't want you to be as stupid as I can make you seem - I want you to not be wrong anymore.

And that's not going to happen if you ignore this with your "we're both wrong" cop-out.

You believed things that aren't true. Stop listening to the people who told you those things. CNN are having a great time - you don't have to like it, you don't have to care (I certainly don't) but letting yourself believe that they're on the verge of failure is a sign that you're letting people mislead you for their own purposes. I'm not taking joint responsibility for that - it's nobody's responsibility to notice the problem here but your own.
