i actually joked about commiting suicide on an online fight about billie eillish once and never again bc two 14 year old girls with depression got ultra pissed off and attacked and yelled at me, here was one of the comments (Only a part of it tho):

"OML WHAT?! SUICIDE IS NOT A JOKE!!!!! Don't EVER joke about suicide. Some people have ACTUALLY KILLED THEMSELVES and you're over here joking about doing it! Don't joke about stuff like that!'' no srsly she said that

We like to joke about these topics. It's not offensive, and we're gonna do it anyway regardless of what people think. That's called dark humor. I even made a joke about 9/11 myself...

yea no i have depression, I self harm, I have OCD, I'm suicidal, etc and I actually find jokes about that funny.
