"Answer. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of a dwarf planet because it did not meet the three criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet. Essentially Pluto meets all the criteria except one—it “has not cleared its neighboring region of other objects.”

So... You're telling me... The reason most people think Pluto is not a planet is... IT'S SIZE?!
Do these guys seriously have a "You have to be this tall to..." rule?!
Then how is Saturn a planet if it's almost the size of Sol?!
also I accidentally flagged your comment like a complete moron while trying to respond to it 🤦 I'm sorry

well sorta "A dwarf planet hasn't "cleared the neighborhood" around its orbit, which means it has not become gravitationally dominant and it shares its orbital space with other bodies of a similar size." so kinda?

Wot?
What do you mean it's not "Gravitationally dominant"?
It's gravity is only 1/3 of Luna!
