How come?

A lot of the LGBTQ dislikes religion. Especially Christianity and Islam.

Now that's not fully true, I'm Omnist and i'm practically a celebrity here!
UniformVictor is a strict Christian and people love him!

They think it's a stereotype that Christianity and Islam are anti-lgbt, But there's a hell-ton of christian and muslim lgbt people!

I just know people who have had many arguments and I'm not stable enough to handle that conflict.

You could always just, "Not reply" to avoid the arguments
People judge everything, I kid you not, You'll probably get haters saying "Heretic or Anti-Christ"

They are looking at the more strict and fundemental parts of religion. I have to admit that I understand why they'd dislike religion (I'm an ex-Christian), but there is no <<correct way>> of reading a holy text, interpreting it and practicing it (despite what ppl say). You can practice religion in the way that makes you most comfortable and confident and there will still be queer ppl that'll like/love you.

Honestly, if you lose friends because of your religion, they weren't true friends. Best to cut them out of your life anyways.

I don’t really like organized religion because it often gets in the way of science but in my opinion as long as you aren’t hurting anyone you can believe whatever you want

We still accept you! There are several different ways to practice a religion. For example, my church (not catholic) recently had a woman teach the sermon, which many churches would never allow! Certain areas of religion are progressing to be more accepting, you just need to find the one that’s right for you!

If you don't mind my asking, what are you converting from - as in, what are you now - and why do you want to convert to one of those? (Not meant as an attack, just genuine curiosity.)

Heya Wite! I'm attempting to convert Azzy to Christian using reason and Logic! As a trans Pansexual with Autism I'm a MASSIVE skeptic. But I found myself able to prove much of The bible to be true/Believable!!

As a follower I want to bring those who are dear to me to God. Azzy wanted to learn so now I am teaching It! I am hopeful Azzy will be uoining me in Christs Teachings soon and even if not will be happy I tried!!

Oh? I do not live very near to her. We facetime often and are virtual friends. I have driven to visit her once. But her family was not fond of me as an older female being around their son in a swimsuit(She owns a large in-ground pool and a hot tub)

Not exactly. We do speak often but she refuses to speak to me about her love life or disabilities. She is very closed off.
