No, Germany is the reason why we got the first vaccine (Pfizer) with no funding from the US at all. While Trump may have signed off on Operation Warp Speed to get the vaccine produced, approved and distrbuted faster, he can claim no credit for its actual development.
What he can claim responsibility for (which he won't) is the 400,000 Covid deaths that occured in the US as of his last day in office and why the country is No. 1 in world for both cases and deaths, even though both India and China each have populations 4x that of the US.
While I may think Trump is a morally bankrupt, malignant narcissist and disgusting human-being that was/is completely unfit for office, it's a major stretch to say I possess "internal hatred" for him.
