the pilot continues to lay on med bay
the note is slightly bloody.

The radio is talking about the recent attack on Pearl Harbor

sj nods and runs over to ingrid.
in the plane, there seems to either be a body, or a very hurt pilot.

Stanley: uses his MUSCLES to lift open the cockpit and drag the pilot out to the beach

Ingrid looks back: yea that's a good idea-

she grabs sj and runs yet again

Stanley picks up sj and they speedy boi back to their house and hunker down keeping the radio close

Ingrid hugs sj, calming both of them down

Stanley: hugs both of them, Sings softly

they both listen, sj singing along

4 hours later they check outside

Ingrid keeps sj away from the windows and doors
Ingrid: I told you that something like this will happen soon!-

Stanley: Damn Japanese… Their neighbor Mr [insert Japanese last name cause I can’t think of one] checks on them

Ingrid listens in on the call
sj: ooh look! a plane!
he points to the crashed plane on a building.

Stanley: We weren’t even in the war…

they run out of the house. they both want to look for stanley but are being carried away by the crowd

Stanley: yelling Ingrids and sj’s names, he stops to help a wounded soldier get to med bay

they have to leave. Ingrid lets down a tear and wipes it, and runs with sj to a port

Stanley: Runs into their house and searches frantically

of course, they aren't there. the boat is starting to deport

Stanley: runs to the harbor cause why tf and sees Ingrid and sj on a boat, the guy won’t let him on tho

she's hugging sj, trying to calm him down

Stanley: listen here you f**ker… my wife and child are on that boat, so let me on!
Man: oh you want them? Grabs Ingrid and sj and throws them off the boat and the boat leaves

she falls into stanley's gasp
Ingrid: oh thank god you;re alive!
she hugs him and sj does too

Suddenly, the boat gets sunk
Stanley: Oh my god… we have to get off the docks!

Ingrid: good morning
she's give him a good old morning hug

Sj (6) comes down the strairs

Ingrid: good morning!
she hugs little sj

Stanley: I have to go, he kisses Ingrid and pats sj on the head and heads to the base

ingrid and sj wave bye to stanley. they then head inside the house, and go read some books together

Later that day about 9 am
Stanley is working inside on some paperwork when a plane flys above, this isn’t out of the ordinary since it is an air base

sj is reading "cinderella" by the brother grim, and ingrid is reading a newspaper

Suddenly explosions are heard Stanley runs out to see what’s happening, and sees Japanese bombers
(I plan on having him serve the entire war btw)

Ingrid also hears the distant bombs and just in case makes sure sj can evacuate

The alarms blare as mass mania occurs
Stanley: is fighting through the crowd as his first instincts was to check on ingrid and sj

Ingrid wipes her tears, also waving goodbye
sj is smiling and waving bye

Stanley: Blows a kiss too Ingrid and the ship sails
Meanwhile when he arrives
ITS A F**KING MADHOUSE

they go back inside le house

Stanley: nearly gets his leg blown off but is otherwise ok
He gets a letter from Ingrid

Eventually, news spreads of Hitler suicide
Stanley rejoices as the war is pretty much over except for Japan, but he heard rumors of atomic weapons

while that happens, Ingrid and Sj visit the dude

Sj interrupts it, asking questions. Ingrid listens, answering sj's questions.

Stanley: runs back home and checks in sj and Ingrid

they look at him

Sj: How's the guy?
Ingrid: what guy?

Stanley: explainy

Ingrid: D:
Sj: YAY HE'S ALIVE :DD

Stanley: kisses Ingrid and holds them tight

Ingrid whispers to stanley: we'll talk about this later-

sj: mommy can we go visit the soldier?
