DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE POWER OF GOD? The American Church—our Body of Christ—is under attack with an epidemic of Christians who no longer believe in God, leading them to live their lives like practical atheists. We claim to follow God, but our lips and habits display something else that stands as a daily example to detour others from having faith in Him. To avoid this irony of God's people demonstrating atheism with their actions, our "Power of God” series reveals the Lord's might, which is seen in His creation, miracles, destruction of Satan's works, and His ability to defeating death. There is nothing He can't do, it is not possible to intimidate Him, and God's power can do amazing things for you and I. The awesome message we get to tell the nations is that God is real, and through Jesus Christ we can have an intimate, personal relationship with the Creator of the universe! But if the world is to believe our message, we must stop demonstrating practical atheism and start using our lips and lives to show that God is powerful.
