If this is for Minecraft, then infinite gold

Gold because emerald can only be used to trade with villagers where as gold is used for so many things I can make infinite golden apples

But you don’t have infinite apples

So how can you make infinite golden apples?

Then emeralds because gold is useless with weapons and armour so basically I'll just keep trading my emeralds with villagers until I get a high trading level and then I'll start getting good stuff

But you cant get them because there is infinite emeralds, it will take up all of the slots, and the blanks slots will automatically filled with emeralds, so you cant get the weapons, levels, and the trades.

That's what shulker boxes are for

But it will be filled it’s emeralds

And you cant take em back, cause your slots are filled

Then both emerald and gold would be useless because I cant use them for anything

I cannot reply to your other comment but in real life I would choose emerald since it's more rare
