*You don't remember how you got here (you have total amnesia, after all), but you have a splitting headache.*

*Your cell doesn't appear to be locked and you aren't chained up, so you might just be able to leave the cell and try to find a way out.*

*tries to open the door*

*The cell door slowly swings open, making a very loud noise.*

*You can hear a faint scraping noise.*

*tiptoes out*

*The scraping noise gets louder. You hear a sound like metal hitting stone.*

*keeps walking*

*You find yourself at one end of a long hallway. The exit appears to be on the other end.*

*The hallway is so dark that you can't see more than a foot in front of you.*

*keeps walking*

*You hear the scraping sound again. It's directly in front of you.*

Kaitlyn: uh *slowly keeps walking*

*Two torches ignite in front of you, emitting a very low light.*

*You're standing barely a yard away from a strange, skeleton-like creature. It scrapes its blade across the floor and stares at you.*

Kaitlyn: hi…

*The creature stares at Kaitlyn.*

Creature: "...are you trying to escape?"

Kaitlyn: are you?

Creature: "...I think you are trying to escape. Nobody escapes the Bone Butcher."

*The creature, which you assume is the Bone Butcher, raises its blade.*

*...you might want to run.*

Kaitlyn: I’m not

Bone Butcher: "You left your cell... nobody leaves their cell unless they're trying to escape... and nobody escapes the Bone Butcher..."

*The Bone Butcher shambles towards you, still holding its blade aloft.*

*she runs past the bone butcher*

*The Bone Butcher spins around.*

Bone Butcher: "Oh no you don't..."

*Skeletal hands burst from the walls and floor and grab Kaitlyn.*

*she kicks him hoping his bones are weak and will fall apart*

*You manage to kick the Bone Butcher with enough strength that his body falls apart. The hands let go of Kaitlyn and go limp.*

Bone Butcher: "Urgh... you won this time, but you won't escape..."

*she takes his sword to use for later*

*The sword is heavy, but you manage to carry it with relative ease.*

[Congrats! You have completed Part 1. Part 2 begins now.]

*You exit the dungeon and end up in some kind of dining hall. The food is all ancient and rotted to nothingness, yet there remains a single freshly set place at the table.*

*realizes she’s kinda hungry and goes over to the place^

*There is a plate here with a freshly-cooked turkey leg on it.*

Kaitlyn: *whispers* yes *eats a tiny bit to see if it was poisoned or somethibg*

*The turkey leg is perfectly fine. And delicious.*

*eats all of it*

*You feel replenished, and a bit stronger too. Good food.*

*You think for a moment. If this is the dining room, the main entrance must be nearby, right?*

*looks around for it^

*You soon find the main entrance, but it is of course locked. There are multiple keyholes on the door, and even a pentagram of some sort.*

*You should search for the keys first... but where might they be hidden?*

*keeps looking around*

*You find nothing except a crowbar-like piece of metal.*

*Perhaps you should try checking a specific room... but which one?*

Kaitlyn: oh maybe butcher bone has it

*You're not sure you want to deal with the Bone Butcher right now, so maybe you should try looking for the other keys. There appear to be five in total.*

*Maybe you should check upstairs.*

*looks around upstairs*

*While poking around upstairs, you walk past a door that looks different then the rest of the doors.*

*opens that door*

*The door is locked. Of course it's locked.*

Delphine: really? A fourth time?

*...Oddly enough, you're not chained up and the cell door doesn't even appear to be locked.*

Delphine stands up and walks out the door

*You can hear a faint scraping noise.*

*...you realize that you have no idea where the exit is.*

Delphine: oh shitttttttt-
She looks around

*You can go left, or you can go right. Left heads upwards, where the exit likely is, but that's where the scraping noise is coming from. Right heads down, further into the darkness.*

Delphine checks her pocket for her gun and knife

*Your pockets are empty.*
