Having to pass tests, like my Officer training where I have to at a minimum call in artillery, communicate, pass land navigation, be physically fit! Think ALL that want to be an officer should be able to pass MINIMUM standards, dumbing down standards hurts all in my belief! I actually helped a Puerto Rican soldier who had a language issue. He failed out originally from his nuclear biological chemical training. Identified it as a language issue. He got some language help and went back and then passed the STANDARD! He was proud and I was proud of him! This dumbing down is not beneficial for anyone.
