Because everything you have been told about them are lies. General Lee had no slaves, and he only fought for the South because Virginia was fighting the north. If they hadn't been, he may not have fought for the South.

I was in public school once, and I was bullied because I was prettier, smarter, and white. One of the black girls even said I was "Too white" and needed to get "More black". The year after my parents pulled me and my brother out of public school and have homeschooled us from then on. I prefer it. And I still have friends. I meet them in church, and they are a lot nicer and better than the worldly public school kids, so, I want my children to have the best life I can provide for them, and that means No NO public schools. Not to mention I was always sick at public school. When we were pulled out, I haven't been sick with anything worse than a cold sense. (And it was the only cold I had in 5 years. I got it in 2019, so it wasn't covid.)

well bullies are the worst. i went to public school and it was very good overall except for the bullies.

I don't want my future children to go through that, so I will homeschool them.
