I don't get how people mistake lapis and diamonds.

I never understood how people can mistake the two

Diamonds are bright, light blue and shiny.

Lapis is dark blue and dull. Plus both ores look different.

even if someone was far away and saw lapis ore, it would just look like coal.

Idk like lapis looks like diamonds

not really. even in dark caves, lapis just looks like coal since its a very dark color. plus the texture is differant than diamond ore.

i guess people get to excited and assume anything blue is diamonds, i don't fall for it though

I did that with emerald once

i mean, lapis IS darker
