Well, the trailer is like a prequel to the game and so is the book (Minecraft Dungeons: The Rise of the Arch-Illager). A trailer kind of introduces something and it matches the book better than the game, so it's more of a trailer for the book.
The reason I said this, was because the trailer looked so good, I would've loved it if it was the trailer of the upcoming Minecraft movie. Then I realized that it would actually be a film adaptation of the book.
