Delphine: hey that was amazing!

*The girl looks at Delphine. She wipes blood off of her face.*

???: "Thanks."

Delphine: what's your name?

???: "My name is Kin'ra. Yours?"

Delphine: I'm Delphine. It's an honor to meet you.

Kin'Ra: "...there's no need to be honored. I'm just an ordinary illegal fighter."

Delphine: heh alright

Kin'Ra: "You know, Delphine... I don't think I've seen you around here before. How did you end up in this club?"

Delphine: a friend suggested this and I love it here

Kin'Ra: "You love watching people illegally beat each other up so other people can gain money?"

Delphine: well if you put it like that...

Kin'Ra: "Eh, it's fine if you enjoy that sort of thing. I don't care."

*Kin'Ra tries to move her legs. She winces.*

Kin'Ra: "Ugh, my legs are so sore that it's killing me..."

Delphine: maybe you should get home, i wont keep you away any longer
she walks away

Kin'Ra: "Oh- well, bye..."

Delphine was thinking about how e p i c that was while walking home

*Kin'Ra slowly exits the fight club, but her legs are so sore that she can barely walk.*

Delphine gets home

*Kin'Ra barely makes it home.*

delphine goes into slumber

(Paper Mario approached.)

*The girl looks at Paper Mario.*

???: "...you're an odd one."

(Paper Mario waves, smiling in a friendly way.)

???: "...you don't seem the type to come to this sort of place. Why are you here?"

(Paper Mario writes "Lost" on a piece of paper.)

???: "...well I suggest you leave. This place isn't friendly to newcomers."

(Paper Mario tries to leave, but the door doesn't budge.)

*The girl glances at a clock.*

???: "...welp, too late. It's past closing time, so nobody's getting in and nobody's getting out until tomorrow morning."

(Paper Mario looks slightly sad.)

???: "Eh, don't worry. You can probably just sleep until morning."

(Paper Mario starts pulling on the door harder.)

???: "The door's not gonna open, buddy."

(PM falls onto the floor.)

???: "Now you're just being pathetic."

(PM seems offended.)

???: "Are you just going to lay on the floor all night? What if someone steps on you?"

(He tries to get up, but fails.)

*The girl chuckles.*

(He keeps trying to get up, to no avail.)

*The girl bursts into laughter.*

(Paper Mario gives up.)

???: "Do you want some help?"

(Paper Mario nods.)

*The girl walks over and picks up Paper Mario. She stands him up.*

(He looks very grateful.)

???: "...what's your name, little paper guy?"

(He writes "Mario" on a piece of paper.)

???: "...Mario, huh? Cool name. I like it."

(He smiles.)

???: "I'm Kin'Ra. Nice to meet you."

*Kin'Ra smiles.*

(Paper Mario seems to like Kin'Ra's name.)

Kin'Ra: "So, Mario... can you talk?"

(He shakes his head)

Kin'Ra: "Hmm. Why not?"

(He shrugs.)

Kin'Ra: "Eh, it's not that important."

(Suddenly, you hear a 'thud'. Mario tilts his head in confusion.)

Kin'Ra: "...what was that?"

(You hear another, even louder 'thud.')

Kin'Ra: "...hmm..."

(They get louder and louder each time. Mario looks scared.)

Kin'Ra: "...Mario, get behind me."

(Mario shakily hides behind Kin'Ra.)

*Kin'Ra assumes a defensive position and waits for whatever is making the 'thud' sounds.*

(Mr. L walks in.)

*Kin'Ra stares at Mr. L.*

Kin'Ra: "We're closed, buddy. Go away."

Mr. L: I never asked if you were closed. (He points at Mario) I came here for him.

Kin'Ra: "Yeah, well I don't care. We're closed. Get out before someone makes you get out."

(Mr. L ignores Kin'Ra, and starts walking towards Mario. Mario looks scared.)

*A very large, very muscular man grabs Mr. L. Kin'Ra smirks.*

Kin'Ra: "Warned you."

(Mr. L slaps the man, and it's surprisingly strong.)

*The man doesn't even flinch.*

Man: "...that was bad move."

*The man punches Mr. L in the face with a 100-horsepower punch, stronger than the strongest recorded punch on Earth.*

Mr. L: ..........Dumb move, bro.

Man: "No. Dumb move is coming to club when club closed."

(Mr. L snaps his fingers, and Brobot appears.)

*Kin'Ra snaps, and Brobot disappears.*

(I love the Brobot Battle theme, but I do NOT wanna have to fight that thing.)

Mr. L: what

Kin'Ra: "What, can you not deal with it when people fight back?"

Mr. L: Gh... whatever. I don't need a fight. (He grabs Mario) I need this guy.

*Kin'Ra grabs Mr. L and slams him into a wall.*

Kin'Ra: "Don't even TRY to touch my friend."

Mr. L: FRIEND?! Who would want to be friends with this silent idiot?! (Mario is on the verge of tears)

Kin'Ra: "Me, that's who."

*Kin'Ra snarls.*

Mr. L: Well then, you must be an idiot too.

Kin'Ra: "The only idiot here is you."

*Kin'Ra's fist glows. She breaks Mr. L's nose.*

Mr. L: OW!!

Kin'Ra: "You best get out of here before I break something else, you clown."

Mr. L: Alright, fine!

*Kin'Ra grins. She lets go of Mr L.*
