What’s weird is that so many people like anime, but if an anime movie gets nominated for Best Animated Film, it’s the only one that does in that year, and while about 7 anime films were nominated over the years, only one of them actually won.
Oh my goodness if a studio made an anime remix of a movie I like I wouldn’t care, but I would care if weebs were like, “heY lOOk iT’S tHaT MoViE yOU liKE.”
