I'm in the same boat. None of my memes are super popular, but because I post a lot of them, comment, upvote, downvote, and vote on comments, it all drives my score up. It just proves to upvote beggars that you don't need to upvote beg - you just need to interact with the rest of the community.

I really don't know how, but I've only been here for just a little over a month, and I guess my luck has been insane because the number of points really doesn't fit the timeframe.
