Personally, I think the only problem with 2016 was the Presidential Election being lopsided in favor of Trump. The economy was good; Unemployment was at its lowest; And schools and businesses were fully open. Was it really that bad?
Yeah I was thinking that someone ought to mention the election at one point, cuz I remember in 2016 when the election happened. I remember my teacher asking the morning after the results "how do you feel about the election results?" at the time I said "I'm kinda happy Trump won" only because I heard that the other candidate (hillary) was a criminal.
5 years ago I had no idea what I was saying. Now, looking back, that was a bit of a stupid move, but then again, I was rather young so I didn't know any better. but anyways.
I don't know what to say tbh because I'm not experienced with politics so I understand little about it, but if you think it's ironic and stuff, then ok.
I mean, everything about 2016 was okay but the Presidential Election, while everything was bad about 2020 but the Presidential Election. That really is ironic.
At the time I heard that one candidate (trump) was not great because he wasn't experienced with politics (or something like that), but the other candidate was a criminal. All my little brain thought was that the criminal was bad, so I was hoping the non-criminal would win. kid logic for ya
The only good thing about 2020 was the Presidential Election being lopsided in favor of Biden. The economy was bad; Unemployment skyrocketed; And schools and businesses were forced to close.
