What you say is "defending the orange traitor", is either sarcasm, contrarian language or truth seeking. Trump blew it. He was presented a golden opportunity to advance conservative rational thought, and his ego and narcissism got in the way. I do not support him, I do however champion some of his ideas.

Hey, he didn’t get us into any new wars. I’ll give him that. Other than that one shining point, he was a train wreck from the day he took office until the day he was dragged out of office. And with a little bit of karma, he will be so tied up in criminal and civil courts that he won’t ever get the opportunity to do any more damage to our country.

I think his continuing funding for HBC was good. I also think moving the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem was long over due. I also think his doubling of tax deduction to $24,000 tax free was good. Also, doubling the child tax credit was good. I think the new NAFTA is better than the old. I think his restarting the Keystone Pipeline was a good thing. And as you said, no new wars. Had he not been such an asshole personally, a lot more good things could have been accomplished.

His personality flaws held him back for sure. And had he not ran at all, there would be no criminal investigations into how he ran his company before he was president . It’s a catch 22.

You mean while leftists and their media outlets were calling Trump a racist for trying to suspend flights from China and Nancy Pelosi was telling everyone in this nation to flood China towns and party hardy with ZERO social distancing because to them COVID-19 was just no big deal . . . and you leftists at the time . . . cheered?
