The problem is, most of the time when upvotes are mentioned, IT IS upvote begging.
"Oh, I never get upvoted..." <--- Yes, that's upvote begging.
"I bet my buddy this would reach the front page" <--- Upvote begging.
"Downvote this! LOL!!" <--- Reverse psychology upvote begging.
All these B.S. games people play, and all they need to do to get upvotes is to make funny memes. And what are the points good for anyway? It isn't like you can trade them in for a discount on a new car or put your point total on your resume.
