I think it was like in sly 2 where he got a bit taller and his legs could reach. I guess they just wanted Murray to be a van potato

in sly 2 bentleys legs worked but if the sly movie trailer was set after sly 3 then hes in a wheelchair so he wouldnt be able to press down on the pedals
