Rebecca Romijn because she portrays the fierce and brutal Mystique like in the comics. Jennifer just wasn't suited for this role.

Yeah, they made her too soft instead of the killing machine she is in the comics. I feel like they did the same for Mark Ruffalo's Hulk.
