The developers of DooM wanted a game where the player could just run around and blast away enemies, because of the success of their earlier game Wolfenstein. So they decided to not give the game much of a story line. However as they finished the third episode they realized they needed a reason for DooMguy to keep fighting the demons for DooM II. So at the end of episode three, inferno, the player is treated to a light and joyful tune that turns dark as the screen pans from left to right to reveal that the demons have laid waste to a city as DooMguy´s arm hold up the decapitated head of his beloved bunny Daisy. This also gives us the name of one of the best and most memorable songs from DooM, sweet little dead bunny. This lead DooMguy on the 27 year rage that we now know as the DooM games. All this time to avenge his sweet little dead bunny, Daisy.
