(I'll do 9. The OC I will be using is named Erin.)

Sonia: *waves her hand* You will love it

Erin: "...because you're going to wipe my mind."

Aquamarine: *writes* “It’s better not to remember”

*Erin sighs.*

Aquamarine: *writes* “You will be unable to leave the sea, do you really want memories of your family burdening your?”

Erin: "...I guess you're right."

Aquamarine: *writes* “It’s torture”

Erin: "...do you remember your family?"

Aquamarine: *nods*

Erin: "I'm sorry..."

Aquamarine:..

Erin: "...so how long until this 'transformation' happens?"

*the next night?*

(Yeah, that's probably best)

aquamarine: *returns*

Erin: "...The transformation is tonight, right?"

Aquamarine; *nods*

Erin: "Okay... I'm ready."

Aquamarine: “lets go then”
(I’m going to go find the description for the transformation place-)

Erin: "I'm gonna need another bubble."

Aquamarine: *nods and goes down the hall*

*Erin follows Aquamarine.*

Aquamarine: *makes one*

*Erin enters the bubble.*

Erin: "Lead the way."

Aquamarine: *hugs back*

*Erin smiles. Eventually she pulls away.*

Erin: "I've got to get going... see you next time, Aquamarine!"

Aquamarine: *waves bye*

*Erin waves, then climbs out of the water. She dries off, then grabs her stuff and walks away.*

*the next day?*

*The next day, Erin comes back to the beach, this time wearing more swimming-friendly clothes (aka a bikini). She downs a huge water-breathing potion, then leaps into the water and swims down to the rock formation.*

Aquamarine: *waiting there*

Erin: "Hiya, Aquamarine!"

Aquamarine; *nods*

Erin: "I knew you would."

*Erin grins.*

Erin: "Hey, why don't we go swimming around today? You can show me all sorts of cool underwater stuff."

Aquamarine: *waves*

Erin: "Did you miss me?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “permanent”

Erin: "...I don't wanna be a prisoner..."

Aquarium: *shrugs*

*Erin looks like she's about to cry.*

Aquamarine: *has an indifferent look on her face*

*Erin sighs. She starts crying.*

Erin: "I though we were friends..."

Aquamarine: *something flashes in her eyes but then it is gone*

Erin: "...So what are the specifics of my 'permanent' visit?"

Sonia: You’ll see

Erin: "Okay..."

*Erin is still crying.*

Erin: "...can I at least have some clothes if I'm going to be imprisoned?"

Sonia: She looks old enough for the transformation, put her as a top priority
Aquamarine: *nods*

Erin: "T-transformation? Are you going to... turn me into a... a mermaid?"

Aquamarine: *hesitates, then nods*

Erin: "Yay!"

*Erin, without thinking, hugs Aquamarine.*

Aquamarine: 0-0

Erin: "Ack! Sorry! I wasn't thinking, I just did it!"

Aquamarine: *writes* “it’s okay”

Erin: "Oh, okay."

Aquamarine: ..

Erin: "...that hug felt nice."

Aquamarine: *nods*

Erin: "Do you mind if I hug you again?"

Aquamarine: *shrugs*

*Erin hugs Aquamarine again.*

Aquamarine: * goes into a room full of clothes*

Erin: "Woah, so many clothes to choose from..."

Aquamarine: *nods*

*Erin looks around until she sees an adorable-looking wave-patterned dress.*

Erin: "Ooh! I want that!"

Aquamarine: *takes it and gives it to Erin*

*Erin slips the dress on. She twirls around and strikes a cute pose.*

Erin: "Thank you, Aquamarine! How do I look?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “beautiful”

*Erin blushes heavily.*

Erin: "Aww, thank you, Aquamarine! You look beautiful too."

Aquamarine: *writes* “I’ll show you your room”

Erin: "Okay. I hope it has air, I don't like this bubble very much..."

Aquamarine: *smiles*

*Erin smiles.*

Erin: "So, where to now?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “Sure”

Erin: "Lead the way."

Aquamarine: *takes his hand and zooms into the depths*

Erin: "Wheeeeeee!"

Aquamarine: *goes towards a cave*

Erin: "Ooh, a cave!"

Aquamarine: *nods eagerly*

Erin: "Let's go in!"

Aquamarine: *goes in*
*the cave is filled with crystals of all different colors*

Erin: "Woah... so pretty..."

Aquamarine: *nods*
*suddenly the entrance freezes over*

Erin: "Uhh... what's going on?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “I could tell you how to keep your memories..”

Erin: "Please do."

Aquamarine; *writes* “You have to hold onto your memories, especially the most powerful and vivid ones. You have to ignore everything that is happening, all the pain that comes with transforming.”

Erin: "...okay."

Aquamarine: *writes* “You don’t have to do this”

Erin: "...I want to."

Aquamarines *writes* “Are you sure? The transformation is painful”

Erin: "...I'm sure."

Aquamarine: *writes* “If you say so”

*Erin smiles.*

Erin: "...thank you for telling me how to keep my memories."

Aquamarine; *nods*

*Erin goes back to sleep.*

*she nods*

Erin: "...what's your name?"

Aquamarine:…

Erin: "...don't worry, you can trust me. I won't tell anyone about you, I promise."

Aquamarine: *points to her mouth then makes an X with her hands*

Erin: "Oh... you can't talk? You poor thing..."

Aquamarine: *nods*

*Erin swims closer to Aquamarine.*

Erin: "...is there some way to make you able to talk again?"

Aquamarine:..

Erin: "...I need to come up with a more effective method of communicating with you... but what?"

*Erin thinks. While she's at it, she drinks another water breathing potion.*

Aquamarine: *shakes her head no*

Erin: "That's a shame... I bet if you had a voice, it would be beautiful."

Aquamarine: *begins to swim outi

Erin: "...goodbye... I love you..."

Aquamarine: *leaves the room*

*Erin does as she was instructed to, and begins to focus on all her strongest memories.*

Sonia: *comes in*

*Erin glances at Sonia.*

Sonia: Hellk

*Erin is silent.*

Sonia: Excited to be with my sister?

*Erin nods.*

Sonia: *chuckles* She though she could hide you from me

*Erin remains silent.*

Aquamarine: 0-0

Erin: "...Sorry about that... I just wanted you to know exactly how much I care about you."

Aquamarine: *writes* “It’s okay”

Erin: "Oh, alright then. And I'll give you a little warning next time, I promise."

Aquamarine: *starts down the hall againi

*Erin follows. She grins.*

*they go into a large black stone room, in the center is an alter with wrist cuffs and what seem to be fin cuffs. High above the other is a hole in the roof. Oval white stones decorate the wall and everything in the room*

Erin: "...I assume you're going to chain me to the altar?"

Aquamarine: *nods*

Erin: "...Let's get this over with..."

*Erin lays down on the altar.*

Aquamarine: *puts the restraints on*

*Erin takes a deep breath.*

Erin: "...I'm ready."

Aquamarine: *does sign language* “I was just about to capture her, I wasn’t sure if a bubble would work so I thought I would trap them in the crystal caves”

*Erin has no idea what Aquamarine is signing, and just looks confused.*

Sonia: A bubble would have been fine
Aquamarine: *sign language* “I’m not as powerful as you”
Sonia: Then let’s take her back
Aquamarine: *nods*

Erin: "...what are you guys going to do to me...? Please don't hurt me?"

*the ice melts*

*Erin seems scared. Her potion appears to have worn out as well.*

*an air bubble forms around Erin*

Erin: "...thank you..."

Sonia: Let’s go *they begin to swim and the air bubble takes her with*

Erin: "Where are we going..?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “the capital”

Erin: "...please tell me this is a social visit..."

*water laps at the shore of the sandy beach*

*Erin stares out across the water.*

Erin: "hmm..."

*he notices what seems to be the tip of a mermaid tail disappear below the waves*

Erin: "Was that a... a mermaid?"

*Erin rifles through her bag while still watching the waves.*

*she sees it again*

*Erin pulls a water breathing potion out of her bag, chugs it, and dives into the water.*

*the mermaid is swimming away*

Erin: "Wait!"

*Erin swims after the mermaid.*

Aquamarine: *stares at Erin, tilting her head*

Erin: "...do you understand me?"

*Erin follows.*

Erin: "...please don't run away..."

Aquamarine: *writes* “It does”

Erin: "Oh, good!"

Aquamarine: *goes back into the hall*

*Erin follows.*

Aquamarine: *opens a door, inside is a large bedroom. The water stops at the door and inside is air*

*Erin pops the bubble and enters the room. She takes multiple deep breaths.*

Erin: "Thank god, air..."

Aquamarine; *writes* “What do you like to eat?”

Erin: "Hmm... I was always a fan of lobster."

Aquamarine: *writes* “I’ll go get some”

Erin: "You're too kind."

Aquamarine: *smiles and swims off*

*Erin sits on her bed, smiling.*

Erin: "She's so sweet... such a good friend..."

Aquamarine: *comes the next day with lobster*

Erin: "Another lobster? You're the best!"

Aquamarine: *writes* “They aren’t that hard to catch”

Erin: "I know, but still. It means a lot to me when you bring me these."

Aquamarine: *smiles*
(Skip to like 5 days later since nothing interesting will happen in between then?)

*Erin smiles.*

(Yeah, sure.)

*fives days later, at night*
Aquamarine: *opens the door* *writes* “We have to go, Sonia wants to transform you tomorrow night”

*Erin looks a bit worried and depressed about something, but nods.*

Aquamarine; *writes* “But your family?!”

Erin: "...My family hardly cares about me."

Aquamarine: *writes* “what’s wrong?”

Erin: "...well, I've been thinking. If I return to the surface, we'll just keep having this really complicated human-mermaid relationship... but if I became a mermaid, it would be much easier for us to be together."

Sonia; *drinks the vial*

*Erin is silent, still focusing on her memories.*

Sonia: *begins to chant*

*Erin tunes out the chanting and only thinks about her memories of herself and Aquamarine.*

*the moon shines in the hole, somehow visible this deep under water*

*Erin closes her eyes so the moonlight doesn't distract her.*

*then the air bubble pops, and water presses in around her, going into her mouth and up her nose*

*Erin ignores the feeling of drowning, even though it's killing her, and keeps focusing on her memories.*

*the everything goes black, when she wakes up it is daytime*

*Erin looks down at her body.*

*water seems to deep into her memories, making them seem diluted and harder to hold on to*

*Erin focuses more on her emotions than her memories, which seems to make it easier for her to hold on to her memories.*

Aquamarine:..

Erin: "How long does the transformation take?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “all night”

Erin: "Alright then... this is gonna be a long night."

Aquamarine: *writes* “You can still turn back”

Erin: "...I'm not turning back. I'll go through with this."

Aquamarine: *she looks concerned* *writes* “If you say so”

Erin: "...If I mess up, and I forget everything... I want you to know that I really care about you, Aquamarine. You're the only being I consider my best friend."

Aquamarine: !! *she blushes*

*Erin giggles while blushing.*

Aquamarine: *hugs Erin*

*Erin hugs Aquamarine back and kisses her on the cheek.*

Aquamarine: *comes back with a lobster on a plate*

Erin: "Yay, lobster."

Aquamarine: *writes* “Caught and cooked it myself”

Erin: "Aww, you didn't have to do all that just for me... thank you."

Aquamarine: *smiles* *writes* “It’s no problem”

Erin: "Okay."

*Erin smiles. She eats the lobster.*

Erin: "Oh my god, this is delicious..."

Aquamarine: *smiles*

Erin: "You're the best friend I could ever ask for."

Aquamarine: *writes* “I have to go now”

Erin: "Okay... bye. See you later."

Aquamarine: *leaves*

*Erin lays down on her bed.*

Erin: "...wow, I miss her already."

Sonia: You’ll have to learn sign language if you want to be with her, she can’t write everything to you if you are going to be a couple

*Erin nods.*

Sonia: *smiles*

Erin: "...will you teach me?"

Sonia: Of course!

Erin: "...thank you."

Sonia: My sister is lucky to have someone like you

Erin: "...I'm lucky to have someone like her."

Sonia: Aquamarine is a great person

Erin: "She really is..."

Sonia: *takes out a vial of black liquid* Now to begin

*Erin nods. She begins to focus on her memories again, prioritizing her memories of Aquamarine.*

Aquamarine: *grabs Erin and tries to swim the other way but a barrier of ice forms there to*

Erin: "...this is bad..."

Aquamarine: *writes* “especially for you”

Erin: "...what's gonna happen?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “This is the queen’s magic, and she isn’t friendly to humans”

Erin: "Oh no... and plus, if I stay down here too long my water breathing potions will wear off."

Sonia: So this is were you where running off to

*Erin stares at Sonia. She shudders.*

Sonia: *looks at Erin* No?

Erin: "...I approached her. She was running away from me at first."

Aquamarine:…
Sonia: *drifts up to Aquamarine* You where supposed to be capturing humans, not playing with them

Erin: "It's not her fault..."

Aquamarine; *sign language* I love you

Erin: "Y-you do?"

*Erin blushes heavily. She hugs Aquamarine, then kisses her.*

Aquamarine: *kisses back*

*After a while, Erin pulls away.*

Erin: "...that felt very nice."

Aquamarine: *nods*

Erin: "By the way, Sonia is going to be giving me sign language lessons so that you and I can communicate better."

Aquamarine: *writes* “That’s great!”

Erin: "Yeah, it really is!"

(I gtg for a little bit)

Aquamarine: *nods*

Aquamarine: *smiles*

(Okay)

Erin: "As for now... would you mind giving me a tour?"

*she is now a mermaid*
Sonia; *removes the restraints*

Erin: "...Can you give me a quick sign language lesson before I go talk to Aquamarine?"

Sonia: Sure, but it should be quick, Aquamarine is pacing outside

Erin: "Right. How about you just teach me 'hello' and 'I love you'?"

Sonia: Alright, this is hello *does hello,* and this is I love you *does I love you*

*Erin smiles.*

Erin: "Thanks."

*Erin swims out to meet Aquamarine.*

Aquamarine: *slams into Erin hugging her tightly*

*Erin giggles. Eventually she pulls away, then signs 'hello'.*

Aquamarine: *looks surprised then does sign language Erin doesn’t understand*

Erin: "Heheh... I only learned how to sign hello... and also this."

*Erin signs 'I love you'.*

Aquamarine: *blushes*

*Erin smiles, blushing.*

Aquamarine: *nods*
Sonia: *looks at Erin* You’re a smart one, that will be useful

Erin: "...b-but what about my family?"

Sonia: Don’t worry, you won’t remember them

Erin: "...what will I remember?"

Sonia: Nothing

*Erin is silent. She curls up into a ball.*

Aquamarine: *writes* “the mind wipe doesn’t always work”

*Erin is still silent, but her eyes have a look of understanding in them.*

*they reach the capital, houses made up of glowing sea plants make it look amazing. All different kinds of sea creatures and merfolk swim around the city. The merfolk seem happy*

*Erin looks around, while still curled into a ball.*

Sonia: See, life isn’t bad here. My people are happy

Erin: "...Your people's life seems nice... I just don't want to be forced into it..."

Aquamarine: *watches*

Erin: "...we could either try writing or mind reading. Which do you prefer? Nod once for writing, twice for mind reading, three times for neither."

Aquamarine: *nods once*

Erin: "Wait here."

*Erin swims back to shore. She grabs a waterproof notebook and an enchanted quill from her bag, then swims back down to Aquamarine.*

Erin: "Here."

Aquamarine: *takes it*

Erin: "So... what's your name?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “Aquamarine”

Erin: "...Aquamarine... that's a beautiful name. My name is Erin."

Aquamarine: *nods*

Erin: "Alright. I'll come back here every day, and if you're here we can hang out. Does that sound okay?"

Aquamarine: *smiles*

Erin: "Do you come near this beach often?"

Aquamarine: *writes* “The ceremony happens every full moon, yours could be in a week or in several months”

Erin: "Okay..."

Aquamarine:..

Erin: "...uhh, miss mermaid queen? I have a question."
