Just to be clear: I'm pretty sure human beings are more concerned with blasphemy than God is. The idea that someone could say something that hurts God's feelings? It's ridiculous. God isn't a two-year-old child.
Historically, accusations of blasphemy and heresy were used by the church to censor speech they disagreed with. When you push back against an authority telling you what to think and believe, you begin to see the true face of that authority - and it's usually very ugly. One of my favorite sayings is "A little blasphemy wakes up the brain cells." And it's true; when you say something controversial, it forces people to think.
You couldn't hurt Christianity any more than it already is. The Bible is woefully mistranslated and misunderstood. Your ministers, preachers, and pastors stretch and twist the words of that book to fit their own objectives. And the most important tenents of your faith go ignored because it's politically inconvenient. Implying that the Holy Spirit is Sus? That barely registers.
