Anais cried in the shed, but was mildly consoled when she had her Daisy. She crawled into a cabinet went to sleep. In the house, Darwin was deeply concerned. "What happened to her, Gumball?" "I don't know, Darwin." Gumball replied, lying. At 2am, however, Gumball woke up and creeped back to the shed. He reopened the hole in the shed and said softly, "Anais, are you in there?" No response. "Sis? Anna? Whatever you want me to call you?"

She looked up at him from under the cabinets, still mostly hidden. "Don't ever call me 'Anna' ever again." Gumball jumped down. Anais quickly hid back. "Look sis, I just wanted to say sorry." "Sorry for WHAT? Sorry you bludgeoned me almost to death with a baseball bat? Sorry you shoved me into this dark shed? Sorry you made everyone in this stupid Bay Area town WORRIED SICK?!" "Oh come on, it's only the neighborhood, not like all of California knows." "My point still stands." Gumball walked over to her, looking through the see through cabinets beneath the tools. "Which one are you in- oh there you are. Look, Anais, I was angry. You tried to kill me first, at least I intended to not kill you." Anais shuddered. "Yeah, because you would've told Mom and Dad. There is no reason me and Darwin can't be in love. It's not even biological." "LOOK AT THE AGE DIFFERENCE, SIS. YOU ARE 4. HE IS 10. DOES THAT NOT SEEM WRONG TO YOU??" Anais thought for a moment, tears forming in her eyes. "I mean, fair point, but, why would we care about society's opinion?" "Maybe think about that before murdering a member of society for their opinion." With that, Anais' lip quivered, and she broke down in tears. Seeing this made Gumball sad, but not sad enough to cry like a 4 year old girl.

"Sis, I really am sor-" Anais interrupted him. "At least free me, then leave me alone." Gumball said, "Ok, I will." He propped a ladder up and helped Anais through the hole in the shed. Once both were out, Anais said "Now leave me alone, please." "But- "DID I STUTTER?????"

The next afternoon, after Anais was reported as found and stuff, Gumball and Anais head to the bedroom together, but when they open the door, Darwin stands there, gun in hand. "So, you two are together now?" he says. "Uhm, no, no, we aren't." "Well, you ain't stealing my girl, Gumball." "Darwin, listen to me here, your little sister, your sweetheart. Gumball taught me incest is wrong, and a 6 year difference at this age is wrong. I'm sorry, but this won't work." Anais said. Darwin said, raising the pistol, "Well I'm sorry, but then you won't work out with the world." "You need to work on your comebacks bro." Gumball says, starting to back away with Anais. "Yeah, I do." Darwin shoots. Gumball and Anais start running, and Darwin chases, shooting at them. Eventually, they manage to stumble out into the woods, where they lose Darwin. He runs away, leaving the gun behind.

"Well, I'm glad we made up, cause one of us wouldn't have survived that if we hadn't." Gumball says. "Sis? You okay?" "I-i've been... agh!" Gumball noticed a growing pool of blood around Anais, with a stain in the center of her dress. "Oh my gosh! Are you ok?!" Anais seemed to have trouble breathing. "I think... this is it.. I'm sorry Gumball..." "No no, don't say that, please don't! I love you Anais, with all my heart, please don't!" "I'm so sorry, I know I was annoying.. but.. thank you for teaching me about incest... I'm sorry i did it.." Gumball, now tearing up all over, said "I forgive you. I'm sorry, too. I love you." He embraced her, and in her last moments, they really loved, not in romance, but sibling love, a love quite as strong, don't you think? He opened his eyes. She wasn't gripping anymore.

Gumball, with tears, laid his sister down. "Sis, if you can hear me up in heaven, please forgive me for what I've done to you. I'll miss you forever." He got up, still crying, and looked down at Anais' corpse. "Goodbye."

As Gumball returned, he did well in holding in the tears of grief, but as he entered the room, Darwin stood, gun in hand. “Well, I hope you’re happy with yourself.” he said. Darwin put the gun down. “Did what? I didn’t even do anything to you or her! Also where is she?” Gumball teared up again. “You shot her in the back! She’s dead because of you! I thought you loved her, but I don’t know what to think anymore.” He walked away. Darwin chuckled to himself. “Well well well, Phase 2 of this plan is complete. The kids don’t know what’s coming tomorrow..”

"And as the two kissed, their love and Alabamian genes blossoming, the supply closet door opens, and Carrie, the one who opened it, shrieked in horror. "How could you do this to me, Darwin? I thought you loved me!" "Wait, Carrie! I can explain!" Darwin yells. Carrie runs off screaming and crying.

The closet door closed on its own. Darwin started crying, but Anais turned towards him, saying "Who needs that emo freak? You said it yourself." Darwin wiped away his tears before he said, "Yeah, I guess." and Anais leaned towards him and gave him a small kiss on the cheek, and Darwin couldn't help but blush. Anais said "Wanna do the thing?" "What do you mean?" "Ya know, the.. *wags her tail* thing." "Are you sure? We're still kids..." Anais paused before saying, "Who cares, if love is stronger." and Darwin and Anais did the thing, rubbing her tail and his gill together. Yes, you have a dirty mind if you thought they would have s*x. Meanwhile, Carrie ran into, or more, through, Gumball. Gumball asked Carrie what was wrong. She said, "I thought Darwin loved me, but he was willing to drop low as to perform incest with his sister!" "WHAT?"

Gumball is horrified, and he asks Carrie where his siblings are. She points to the supply closet. He immediately runs to it and opens the door, catching Darwin and Anais doing the thing. Upon seeing this, they stop and immediately blush and start sweating. "WHAT THE WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" Darwin says, "Uhm, we were just.. uh..." but Gumball cuts him off. "How could you do this? Incest is wrong! Especially with a 6 year age difference!" Anais says in response "Age is meaningless, is it not?" "Uhm, it is, and get out of here before the janitor catches you doing.. whatever it was.. you were... doing.." Darwin and Anais get out. Gumball says he will tell their parents. "Please don't! We're sorry." Anais says. "Alright, but promise you won't do that again, ever!" Darwin sighs. "We promise."

Darwin goes to the sobbing Carrie. "Carrie, please-" "NO! I know you don't love me anymore, you never did, you hated me so much you'd rather hook up with your sister! Waaaaahhh!!!!" "Carrie, please stop crying!" Carrie disappears. Darwin starts to feel sad just as the bell rings for the end of school. Gumball, Darwin, and Anais are picked up by Richard. On the ride home, Gumball notices Darwin and Anais staring at each other, blushing. He is concerned about them, and knows incest in wrong.

The next morning: Gumball awakens at 8:50 am. He remembers it's a Saturday, and him and Darwin are going to go play Legend of Zelmore. But as he turns, he sees Darwin's fishbowl is empty. Weird. He looks at Anais' bed above his. Also empty. He walks downstairs to find his parents have left the house on shopping and won't be back until 2pm. He goes into the basement when he hears snoring. He looks under and gasps in horror. Darwin and Anais, sleeping together on a mattress. "HEY!" he yells at the top of his lungs. They wake up and, upon seeing him, immediately freak out. "That's it, I'm telling Mom!" All of a sudden, Anais, still in her pajamas, grabs a baseball bat. "I'm sorry, my big bro, but we can't let you do that." Darwin pulls a loaded pistol out and aims for Gumball's forehead. The shot misses, but Anais swings the bat, and bing bang bong, Gumball's gone. The blood pools around, and they look at each other. "Did we really just do that?" Darwin asks. "No, Darwin, I really just did that." Anais replies.

The two realize they need to hide the body. They drag him up the stairs and out of the house, where they bury him behind the shed. Anais then goes to the bathroom to clean her pajamas and Darwin goes to play Zelmore by himself. Now, they are safe, or so they think. That night, their parents ask where Gumball is. Anais says "I don't know, haven't seem him since this morning." Meanwhile in the back behind the shed, a muddy hand emerges from the dirt, and Gumball pulls himself out. "Ah, my head hurts. What happened?"

Gumball attempts to get in the house at 11pm, but fails, as the door is locked. He decides to sleep in the backyard. His memory is still impaired. Meanwhile, Darwin and Anais sneak out of bed and to their mattress in the basement. As they cuddle together, Darwin asks, "Do you regret what we just did?" "I'll do whatever it takes to protect our love. Even murder." "But isn't that kinda intense? What'll happen if they find out? We could go to prison!" Anais thinks for a moment. "At least we'll be together." Outside, Gumball struggles to sleep in the cold, when he suddenly remembers how he was knocked out. He feels the side of his head and feels a large, crusty scab and bruise.

Gumball was confused as the headache throbbed. He sleeps in a leafpile outside. The next morning, Sunday, in the basement, Darwin and Anais wake up together. Anais and Darwin shared a short kiss before getting out of bed. As Anais left the basement (secretly) Darwin could not help but think about what they, or more, she, had done to Gumball. The blood was cleaned, but his soul could not be. He still loved Anais with all his heart, though. Meanwhile, Gumball manages to sneak up the window and into the bedroom. He is already plotting his sweet revenge...

Gumball locks the bedroom door and grabs the bloodied bat under Anais' mattress. He finds a spiked bracelet and wraps it around the bat. If she doesn't stop sleeping with Darwin, she will be very sorry. That night, a school night, Gumball puts bandages on his wound and sneaks into the bedroom. As expected, Anais is asleep in the bed, taking a break from Darwin. He crawls up to the mattress and shakes her awake. "What the..." Anais says, before Gumball raises the bat. Just as Anais starts putting together what is about to happen to her, Gumball slams the bat down hard. The blood spatters everywhere. Anais is knocked out, with blood all over. He does not intend to kill her, and just to make sure, he checks for a pulse, which he finds, although weak. He picks her up and locks her in the shed. His revenge is done.

The next morning, Gumball and Darwin wake up to start school. At school, during a boring English class, the school is called to an assembly. Principal Brown announces a student from 9th grade is missing. The student's name is Anais Watterson, who was last seen in her bedroom. Gumball immediately starts panicking, but relaxes after he realizes they are definitely not onto him. Darwin seems nervous, especially considering they were in a relationship. "I hope she's okay!" Gumball replies, "Uh, yeah, what you said." Darwin then says, "Also, sorry Anais, almost killed you... guess that was karma.."

A few bleachers up, Carrie was with mixed emotions. She was sad someone from her school was missing, potentially dead, but at the same time, now Darwin would have to stay with her, without incest. Darwin began to cry as Principal Brown started to talk about the missing. He could only hope his sister and secret romantic partner would be found alive. At the end of school, Gumball found himself looking at Anais' doll, Daisy the Donkey, and started feeling a little guilty. At 9pm, he snuck out of bed and to the shed, where he looks inside. Anais is still there, tears streaming down her face, hoping for rescue. He crawled to the top and sawed a small hole in the roof, and dropped Daisy down. Now Anais would have her doll.
