thomas edison invented nothing. the lightbulb was invented before he was born, he just modified it. but he didnt do any work, just hired a couple of engineers (including nikola tesla), and had them do all the work and then took all the credit. nikola tesla wanted to make free energy for everyone, but thomas edison being a greedy capitalist, he shut down nikola tesla. thats why you pay an energy bill, because thomas edison was a greedy capitalist. if anything, i think we should forget all about thomas edison and focus on the people who actually invented the lightbulb.
