Doesn't matter. Reddit doesn't "own" anything, (hence, nothing can be stolen from them) and the stream rules call for just this type of meme. They literally say, "Stumbled across an unique insult to another user?" That doesn't imply creating or being original with your meme. It asks if the user stumbled, or found, a unique insult while surfing the internet. This meme may not be original, but it's better than 9/10 of the memes people in here submit.

The image is all over the internet. So what. The rules explicitly state that this is allowable...even expected. And, saying that he was scrolling through twitter means he discovered it, not created it. The meme is fine. Only imgflip users need names scrubbed so that it isn't interpreted as harassment. Just enjoy the insult or move on. Life isn't that complicated. There's no need to anoint yourself the Imgflip Police and trash people's threads just so you can feel some misplaced sense of self-worth.
