Honestly, i would rather just delay the whole thing. that way, players can get the full 1.17 caves experience

1.17 itself doesn't offer much besides the blocks and mobs. I get that people would love to see those, but people are most excited for the new caves and world generation in 1.18. So if it were up to me, I think delaying it so we get the full update makes more sense and its more worthwhile

I think that it should not delay because people would like to play around with the new features instead of having to upload a data pack. Some people don't even know how to download a data pack but they still want to play with 1.17 stuff!
