[Veiges eyes slowly fluttered open as she stood up and looked about her surroundings, leaning against a nearby tree to balance herself. She looked somewhat dizzy.]

Sovi: "Indeed... let us go to her, I can show you what I mean."

*Sovi opens a portal to Kynara's temple. He steps in and waits for Veige.*

[Veige closed her eyes and lept through the portal.]

*The portal closes behind Veige.*

*...Kynara's temple is dark, which is odd since she's the goddess of light. Must be the corruption.*

*You feel like someone's standing directly behind you.*

[Veiges fur stood on end as she stood ridged, slowly turning her head around to see her new acquaintance.] "..."

*Kynara stares at you. Half of her seems fine, but the other half is obviously corrupted.*

Kynara: "...V-veige? I-i d-didn't e-expect t-to s-see y-you h-here..."

[Veige assesed the situation, the black haze that was her healing magic curling around her paws.] "Suprise, I decided to pop on over," [Veige replied, taking a step back.] "And I see your havin a problem with some demon thingamagig in your mind. Mind if I talka look?"

Kynara: "P-please d-do... g-get i-it o-out o-of m-me..."

*Kynara spasms.*

[Veige was startled at the sudden spasms, but took a step and placed her hazy paw on Kynara's forehead. The healing magic swirled around the corruption, glowing green but somewhat translucent, like a halo of light. Veige gritted her fangs, shutting her eyes in focus.]

*The corruption roars like some kind of wild animal.*

Kynara: "U-urgh..."

*Sovi puts his hand on Veige's shoulder. She feels stronger.*

Sovi: "Let me help. I can amplify your abilities."

[Veige didn't respond, but her magic glowed brightly once more, and it looked like rain would fall from the magic, but never quite touched the ground. Veiges halo began to gain intensity in color.]

*The corruption flows out of Kynara, trying to escape from Veige's magic. It tries to fly into Veige, but Sovi grabs it. He struggles to hold it off.*

Sovi: "...please do something and do it quick."

*Kynara appears to be cleansed, but she's not conscious.*

[Veige transferred the healing magic into her magic right paw, her left paw channeling a surge of white lightning that formed the shape of clawed lightning, bright white with black streaks here and there. She released the healing magic that also morphed into a ball of clawed white lightning, stepping forward and clawing at the demon before kicking the demon, transferring the magic from her paws to her legs for a devastating flurry of kicks.]

*The demon wails, then collapses. It slowly turns to dust.*

Sovi: "...wow."

[Veige grinned a fanged grin, taking a calm deep breath in and out like she finished a workout.] "Kickboxin," [She explained, looking down at the dust, then back to Kynara,] "It can solve a few problems."

Sovi: "Indeed..."

*Kynara wakes up. She stands up.*

Kynara: "Thank you so much, Veige!"

*Kynara hugs Veige.*

[]Veige: I'm a magic healer.
[]Also Veige: *Frickin goes all out fighting game on a demon.*[]
[Veige flushed a little pink, but she hugged Kynara back.] "It's honestly no problem, I can't let people be in pain like that, cause that obviously sucks, ya know?"

Kynara: "Yeah..."

*Kynara pulls away.*

Kynara: "You're here to fix the Pantheon, right? I'll help."

"That's the plan," [Veige answered, still breathing somewhat heavily while she considered Kynara's offer. If one's eyes were indicators of emotions, Veige was deep in thought.] "If you'd wanna join Kynara, that's great n' all, but I'm probably gonna be going around on wild goose chases, so factor that in with your decision."

Kynara: "Don't worry! I can help you find the other gods."

"Really?" [Veige blinked in surprise before turning back at Sovi.] "And you'd be fine with this, one-hundred percent?"

Goatfire: "You should speak with Rakmoth next. He is quite harsh, but if you know any demons, they may be able to help you."

*Goatfire opens a portal to Rakmoth's temple.*

[Veige looked down at the necklace she recived, her mind immidiately went to Ruv'Ka as she crossed the portal.]

*You stare at the temple, which is surrounded by a dark mist. You don't know if you'll be able to get through it without someone's help.*

[Veige squinted at the mist, holding out her left paw before grabbing the necklace with her right paw.] "Hey, Ruv'Ka, I need some help"

*A portal opens. Ruv'Ka moonwalks out of it. He turns to face Veige and grins.*

Ruv'Ka: "What do you need help with, sweetheart?"

Ruv'Ka: "You just have to touch it and say 'Ruv'Ka, I need help.' Simple as that."

"That seems interestin," [Veige mused, looping the necklace around her neck, taking in the details with another glance, before looking back to Ruv'Ka.] "Thank you."

Ruv'Ka: "You're welcome."

*Ruv'Ka pauses.*

Ruv'Ka: "I assume the reason you're here on Icruvia has something to do with the Pantheon?"

[It felt like a rock fell on Veiges shoulders, her posture wavering.] "That's right," [She said slowly staring to the temple around her,] "I have to get the Incruvian gods to be friendly with each other again. Sounds crazy, but someone's gotta do it."

Ruv'Ka: "Ah. Well, you best start here, with Sovi. You remember him, right? He's a bit harsh still, but he's probably the nicest of the Icruvian gods right now."

"Yume n' the others kinda talked him outta destroying everything we love and hold dear, right? Someone like that's hard to forget... but talkin to him is worth a shot," [Veige mused, looking back at the temple door, her eyes holding a calculating look to them.]

Ruv'Ka: "Yep. That guy."

*Ruv'Ka stares at his watch.*

Ruv'Ka: "Well, I've gotta go. If you need me, you know how to contact me. Bye, Veige!"

*Ruv'Ka moonwalks into a portal and disappears.*

[Veige waved goodbye, feeling a little better about the road ahead. Veige then took a deep breath, walking to the center of the room.] "...Sovi? Ya in here?"

*Sovi appears on a throne in the center of the room. He looks human now, and is actually sort of handsome.*

Sovi: "Oh, hello, Veige. Long time, no see."

[Veige waved back at Sovi. She looked surprised at how different he looked] "Greetings Sovi. Now look," [Veige held up her paws, taking a step closer to the throne,] "I know you and everyone else aren't on great terms. Understandable. But maybe, perhaps, [Veige paused,] "...you could reconsider joining the pantheon again? Its... pretty important."

*Veige appears to be in the garden surrounding one of the temples. The door is open, so you might want to go inside.*

[Veige's green and grey eyes shifted over to the temple. She paused for a moment, collecting her thoughts, before taking a step forward, eventually walking to the temple.]

*Upon approaching the temple, you can hear two people arguing.*

*The temple has a symbol on the door which you feel like you've seen before.*

"..." [Ear's twitching and halo dimming, Veige continued to trudge through the temple, reaching the door. She took note of the emblem on the door by lightly stroking the symbol. Veige then began to open the door.]

*You open the door. A familiar-looking demon is on the other side of it.*

Ruv'Ka: "Oh, hi th- hey, wait, I know you!"

"Ruv'Ka!" [Veige looked both surprised and happy, a fanged grin spreading on her face. Her eyes darted to the area where the demon's scar used to decide.] "How's ya cut? Any better?"

Ruv'Ka: "It's healed now, but there's a scar now."

*Ruv'Ka hands Veige a strange-looking necklace.*

Ruv'Ka: "I never formally thanked you for healing me, so here."

[Veige looked down at the peculiar necklace in her paws, taking in the details. She then looked up at Ruv'Ka and patted him on the back.] "Personally, I think your formal thanks was living."

Ruv'Ka: "Well then, consider this my informal thanks. If you ever need my help, you can use the necklace to contact me."

*Ruv'Ka smiles.*

[Veige looked down at the pendant again, lightly shaking it.] "How'zit work?"

Sovi: "...normally I would not consider doing so, but I trust you, and if you believe it is the right choice, I will do it."

[Veige blinked, looking up at Sovi.] "Really?"

Sovi: "But of course. You saved my Legionnaires from death. That earned you my trust."

"You'd have to thank Yume too," [Veige added, a small smile starting to form.]

Sovi: "Yes, I suppose I will have to do that later."

*Sovi grins.*

Sovi: "As for now, I will aid you in gaining the trust of the other gods and goddesses of Icruvia."

"Oh, thank you so damn much," [Veige wheezed, looking heavily relived,] "I dunno how I'd be able to do this alone."

Sovi: "Tell me... are your medicinal skills capable of healing corruption?"

[Veige's eyes slightly dimmed in color, as if she was thinking.] "I think that depends... type, how it's spread, the person it's infected... I do know a fair deal about them, so that could help."

Sovi: "...Kynara has become corrupted by some kind of chaos demon."

[Veige's ears twitched at the words.] "A chaos demon? Those are the rare ones, right?"

Goatfire: "...what sort of 'something bad' are we talking about?"

"Uhm...let's see..." [Veige wracked her brain for the worst case scenario, something worse than bad.] "The universe starts to randomly implode. Everything fades away. BLACK HOLES. THE INFORMATION PARADOX. THE GREAT FILTER."

Goatfire: "..."

*Goatfire is not impressed.*

"THE- THE FINAL BORDER. NUCLEAR DEATH- THE GOLD APOCOLYPSE, THE- THE...the black hole bomb..." [Veige paused, looking up at Goatfire, then Kynara, then back at her paws.] "Okay, ignore all those very real and logical doomsdays. Think about the billions it would effect."

Goatfire: "...hmm. Fine."

[Veige took a deep breath, relived.] "Serious? Ya mean it?"

*Goatfire nods slowly.*

[Veige felt like running up to Goatfire and hugging him but instead respectfully bowed.] "Arigato, to the world and back."

*Goatfire bows as well.*

Goatfire: "Good luck on the rest of your quest."

"I'll probably need it," [Veige mused.]

Sovi: "...I have no problem with working with Kynara."

[Veige smiled, a confident gleam in her eyes. She turned to Kynara.] "Well, if you have no objections, and Sovi has no objections..." [Veige held her paw out to Kynara.] "Welcome aboard."

*Kynara smiles.*

Kynara: "Glad to be part of the team. Now... let's go visit Goatfire."

*Sovi opens a portal.*

[Veige made a peace sign with her claws.] "Wish us luck!" [She then waved with her peace sign, and decided to make a show of falling through the portal.]

*Kynara enters the portal. Sovi stays behind.*

Kynara: "Goatfire's probably going to act harsh towards you, but don't worry. He's actually a real sweetheart."

[Veige's ears flattened, looking up at the new temple ahead of her.] "How hard do ya think it'll be to convince Goatfire to join the Patheon again? You said he's a sweetheart, but even they can be stubborn."

*Goatfire appears. His goat-skull head is, of course, surrounded by fire.*

Goatfire: "The Pantheon? Why would I rejoin the Pantheon? The Pantheon was a horrible idea!"

[Holding her paws out in a negotiating matter, Veige took a deep breath, slightly freaked out by his goat-skull head.] "Well...why do you think it's 'the worst thing ever'? There must be SOMETHIN good about the Pantheon. Somethin."

Goatfire: "All the Pantheon did was make us hate each other more."

"Understandable, but what if somethin bad happened, that forced yall to join forces?" [Veige questioned.]
