So grateful for my grandma, who taught me so many things and who gave me so much love. Grandma closed the kitchen every night. It's part of cleaning up after dinner. We'd all talk and cut up while working (clear the table, wash the dishes/put away, wipe down the kitchen, take out the trash, sweep and mop, and at my grandma's house you also washed the table and chairs and turned the chairs upside down on and closed the kitchen) It takes less than 15 minutes, more like 10, everyone works together. My mom sent me this pic for Mother's Day, and it just made my heart sing.
