I actually kinda like it tbh

It added elytras, shields, end cities, off hand slot, igloo structures that would teach players how to cure a villager, which I think is very helpful. And best of all, a mending enchantment.

However it came with a few cons. I'm not much of a pvp player, but I think removing the spam sword option is smart. It allows players to use strategy rather than just seeing who can click their mouse the fastest. Plus, I think the ability to craft enchanted golden apples was WAY overpowered.

i dont like the "axe" dmg where players can deal wayyyy too much dmg with strength 2 and sharpness V
and, i started playing bedrock edition because of this

I like the new combat.
unfortunately, bedrock still has the spammy swords

i like it but the axe´s should be less power full but my opinion does not matter cuz i play on bedrock

i really dont think axes are all too op, as the only diff between a diamond axe and a stone one is attack speed, and that isn't too much of a distance be tween a stone one. (and its more expensive)

I love the 1.9 combat because shields are really good, and you don't have to give yourself carpal tunnel in order to be good at combat.
