I don't like crunchyroll that much tbh cause you spend more time watching ads than you do the movie

the ads aren't that long XD it's like 5 min an episode max-
and you can get a subscription to get around that

I had to watch like 2 4 minute ads watching something, then had to watch like a 3 minute ad 7 minutes in

they're 2ish minutes max and there's three per video typically a bit under 2 minutes actually
