Coronavirus cases are surging in India, and the goverment are, surprisingly, suppressing the number of deaths in the country. Some think this is a ploy to open up the country faster, but, as we can now tell, that isn't going to happen anytime soon. The blood clots caused by the English Oxford vaccine are actually very unlikely, with mostly people in their 30s being affected. The UK goverment will only offer the vaccine to people in their forties. Nevertheless, it has scared a lot of vaccine hesitant people into postponing their jabs.
World news:
First, in the United States, Liz Chaney has been removed from office following her criticism of Repulican party leader Donald Trump. Ms. Chaney was reported to make the following statements, such as "Donald Trump is the complete opposite of everything The Republican party stands for" and, as she clearly is implying, not what we need.The Imgflip Times says that the only reason Trump's impeachment was not successful, was because it is Mr. Trump who gives the party this immense popularity, and the Republican party would suffer at a large loss, and drawback in popularity in the American public's minds.
The conflict between Jewish Palestinians, and Arab Israelis has escalated, with rockets being fired by both sides, killing 67 Jewish Palestinians, and 6 Arab Israelis. However, Washington has sent representatives to negotiate with both sides. Civilians on both sides hope for brighter days, and some compare this to the conflict in 2014, which had lasted for around 50 days.
