1.) You gotta draw the character, how else would it exist? Make em pop out, make em stand out with their originality.
2.) A decent backstory is what every character needs, just, make it original, with your own swing too it. Even if it’s not SO original like, “my parents are dead” etcetera, etcetera, it’s still gonna pop out in it’s own way, I assure you.
3.): Possitive and negative traits, likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, something to make them not as boring as a cardboard box, like the actual kind of cardboard box, not the humanoid ones and my friend and I here make. These are just something to make them as far away from a Mary Sue as possible.
4.) Powers, but this one’s optional. You can give them a weapon or some form of magic you want, but you don’t need to. They can be an everyday citizen if you want them to be.
5.) Extras, add your own personal touch! A LOT of other things could be added to them if you want, like something to go along with their personality, their backstory, anything!
6.): You’re done, it’s finished. Your character has been made, and you’ve succeeded. You’ve become one with us weirdos.
