Monk: What’re you doing here?

Nat: Umm.. I'm kinda lost.

Monk: Hm. Where’re your parents?

Nat: I don't know..

Monk: Do you know where you live?

U-um.. I can't remember..

Monk: Do you remember anything? Landmarks by your house, family, friends?

Nat: N-no..

Monk: Hm... let’s walk around for a bit, hm? *They hold their hand out, trying not to frighten them*

Nat: *takes their hand*

*Monk walks around with them, asking people if they know the kid.*

Nat: *keeps their head down the entire time, avoiding eye contact with monk or any of the strangers*

Monk: Well, i hate to ask this, but do you wanna go to the police station...?

Nat: No, not really...

Monk: Not surprised. Hm... *They think of what else they could do*

Nat: *starts making weird hissing noises*

Monk: Uh.. you okay?

Nat: *nervous* Y-yeah..

*Monks look at them*
Monk: You sure? That doesn’t sound like you are...

Nat: *points* There's a snake behind you.

Monk: Ah. That’s nice. *They walk over and grab it’s head* Jeez.

Nat: Wait! Don't hurt it!

Monk: This doesn’t hurt them, it just prevents them from biting.

Nat: Okay..

Monk: *Puts it back on the ground* It isn’t venomous, so that’s good.

Nat: *nods, seems tense*

Monk: Do you not like snakes?

Nat: No, it's not that..

Monk: What is it then?

Nat: If I tell you, will you promise not to freak out?

Monk: Sure.

Nat: Um.. I can talk to snakes. That snake is my friend..

Monk: Huh. Cool.

Nat: *seems happy that you weren't surprised or scared*

Monk: I have friends who have powers like that, one can talk to animals, and the other can summon animals. So, never surprised by powers that much anymore.

Nat: *seems happy* That's so cool!

Monk: And now that i think of it, I have a shapeshifting friend too.

Nat: Could I meet them?

Monk: Sure, I actually think they’re around here somewhere, but it’s gonna be hard to find them...

Nat: Yay!!! We're going on an adventure! *Nat smiles widely*

Monk: Heh. Just look at different animals and see if they’re acting weirdly. They don’t know how to act like an actual animal yet.

Nat: Okay.

*Monk walks off, looking for anything weird*

Nat: *follows them, concentrating very hard on every animal they see*

*A cat falls from a tree and lands on their back, but gets up seeming completely fine. Monk is walking ahead, and doesn’t notice*

Nat: Uh, that is not normal..

Monk: Hm? *They turn around*

Nat: *points to the cat* They landed on my back then fell off and seemed perfecly fine.

Monk: Pfft. Yeah, that’s them.
*The cat transforms into this girl*
???: Dang it.

Nat: *giggles* You're pretty, miss.

???: Aw thank you.

Nat: What's your name?

Lune: You can call me Lune, and as you can see, i’m a shapeshifter.
Monk: *cough* a bad one *cough*

Nat: *giggles at Monk's comment*

*Lune flashes a annoyed face at Monk*
Monk: Sorry, had something in my throat, *cough cough*
Lune: Mhm sure.

Nat: So what now?

Monk: Oh yeah Lune, i randomly found this kid, i was trying to find his parents but we got sidetracked when a snake came by.
Lune: Hm.

Nat: The snakes name is Kyle.

Lune: That’s a nice name. Did you name it or did it name itself?

Nat: I named him.

Lune: Nice. But anyways, How’d you get here, without your parents?

Nat: U-um.. I don't know, actually.. It's fuzzy..

Monk: Do you know if there’s any place you can stay?

Nat: N-no, not really.. Usually I sleep in on the ground..

Monk: Well that’s definitely isn’t gonna work. Wanna come to my house?
Lune: I’m coming too!

Nat: Sure. Let's go!

Monk: Alright let’s go. *They start walking*
*Lune transforms into a bird, and sits on Monk’ shoulder*

Nat: *walks beside them*

*Monk points to a house not too far*
Monk: That’s my house there, my parents built it for me.

Nat: Cool! *runs up to the house*

Monk: Heh.
*Lune is sleeping on Monk’s shoulder*

Nat: *opens the door*

*Its a normal house, with a living room, kitchen and dining room. There are stairs leading to a second floor.

Nat: *starts exploring immediately*

Nat: *goes up the stairs*

*There are 5 doors, all labeled. “Monks room” “guest room #1” “guest room #2” “bathroom” and “game room”*

Nat: *taking the most interest in 'game room', she opens the door to it*

*Its a room with a tv, game chairs, and video games. there’s also some puzzles, books, toys, and drawing supplies.*

Nat: *picks up drawing supplies and puts them on the floor, and starts drawing*

*Monk walks up and sees Nat*
Monk: Already found something you like huh?

Nat: *Looks back at Monk* Yeah.

Monk: You could use either of the guest rooms, they’re both basically the same. I’m gonna be in the kitchen. *They start walking away*

Nat: *finishes drawing then goes to guest room 1*

*Theres a king size bed with a tv, closet, and two dressers, with clothes of different sizes.*

Nat: *Jumps onto the bed*

Nat: Mmmm. Comfy.

*Lune walks in as a cat*
Lune: I’m boreddd

Nat: Me too.

Lune: Hm. What do you normally do for fun?

Nat: Usually I play with my animal friends or explore the forest.

Lune: We could explore the forest together. I’m still trying to learn how to act like an animal, so this would help me. Plus, i could easily fly us back here.

Nat: Then let's go!

*Lune runs downstairs to Monk*
Lune: Hey stupid! We’re gonna go explore the woods, okay byeee!
*She runs outside*

Nat: *Waves to Monk as she runs outside behind Lune*

Lune: Alright, where we going first?

Nat: How about the West side of the forest? There's a really cool cave there that I haven't explored yet!

Lune: Well then let’s go!

Nat: *starts running*

*Lune runs along side them*

( Once they reach the cave ) Nat: Here it is.

Lune: Wow, so pretty.
*Lune transforms into firefly, but bigger so they can see in the cave*

( There is light around a corner in the cave ) Nat: What is that?

*Lune transforms into a bat*
Lune: Hm, i don’t know. *She flies ahead*

(And the source of the light is thousands of glowing crystals in the cave walls) Nat, who just turned the corner: Woah.

*Lune transforms into herself*
Lune: What the...

Nat: *wide-eyed* It's so pretty..

Lune: But what is it? We don’t know if it’s dangerous or something.. *She looks around*

Nat: *walking towards the crystals*

*Lune tries to grab Nat*
Lune: Hold on-

Nat: *touches the crystals, but suddenly pulls back her hand*
That is sharp!

Lune: I don’t trust it. Something about this seems off...

Nat: Let's keep going.

Lune: Alright, sure...

Nat: *walks past all the crystals, occasionally glancing at them*

*Lune follows Nat, somewhat nervous, looking around them cautiously *
