Not if u get a cobblestone generator, villager trades, a base, and a source of wood

you need to find a village just to survive the wood source can be the villager's house but some saplings are gonna be necessary soon

Ive been playing on a superflat world for well over 2 months now. I was able to get good diamond armor and tools from trading. I was able to get a cobble gen with some lava from blacksmith, I got a good tree farm from saplings, I used villager beds to eventually get netherite, plus i made an iron farm. I build a large 100x 200 fence around two villages that were close to each other. I had to find a ton of blacksmiths and lava sources in order to have enough obsideon for enchanting table and nether portal. But i did it.

See if you put the time and effort into it, superflat worlds are easy. Plus its great for building.

sure its boring at times but it pays off very nicely

Villages have a good extra source of cobble, and terracotta too. I was able to make a cool medevil style house using mossy and normal cobble, logs, oak, and terracotta.

how did you get water?

You can get them from wells, fountains, or gardens...

just get two buckets for an infinite water source and you're good

Oh yeah, you can get other things from wandering traders, such as ice, different saplings, sugarcane, etc.

yes it is super hard with the wood, stone, and ore shortage and with the slime invasion

The only hard thing is getting obsidian and avoid being killed by slimes

i did it in bedrock, (bedrock superflat has no villages)
the only source of wood is trades from wandering trader
and only source of emeralds is from killing illager patrols
