Here is a study of why the Hated Child trope is cringe

Ladies and gentlemen, a complete study of why the hated child trope is cringe:
1. There's a lot of unused plots, like for example: there's a part where the hated child transforms into some kind of lEgEnDarY fAiRy and the only role that plot plays is just to annoy the abusive mother
2. There is no love interest, but if there is, the love interest isn't good.
3. The hated child doesn't have anything that makes her different from other protagonists. In fact, she has NO PERSONALITY AT ALL. Yes, she's quiet, kind, and probably even a bit of a tomboy but there's nothing that makes her unique. Why not make her imaginative or a dreamer?
4. There's rarely any redemption for the spoiled brat sister and the abusive mother.
5. The spoiled brat sister is just spoiled JUST BECAUSE. It makes her character bland and boring.
6. The character design is just awful.
7. Like the hated child, the hated child's friend also has no personality and doesn't even play a part in the story. She just becomes the hated child's friend and THAT'S IT. The hated child doesn't even tell her friend about her new life in the castle.
8. It's overused.
9. The story is too short and bland.
10. None of the characters are good. None of the characters have anything that makes them unique of likable.
11. The titles are so cliche, it's always "ThE hATed ChILD bECOmEs A PrINCEsS"

But honestly I’d rather live in the days when the only Gacha cringe that exists are hated child stories instead of friggin support for MAPs (if you don’t know, these are people who are sexually attracted to CHILDREN who are YOUNGER THAN THEM, in short: lolicons) and perverted unholy cringe. Because at least hated child stories don’t have perverted stuff.

I actually was part of the Gacha community when I was 9 and the only Gacha cringe I knew of was hated child stories
