Delaying a meme causes it to appear pages into the "New" filtered stream

It would be nice if the "New" filter displayed memes based on when they were approved - not based on when they were submitted. That would put an end to this nonsense.

When my meme is finally approved, it will appear on page 3 or page 4 of the politics stream when filtered by "New". Nobody will see it.

Delaying memes like this causes them to go unnoticed, because they appear so far into the stream that very few ever go that far to see them.

At this point, I'd be better off to delete it and re-submit it.
