The media is more about playing shooting games or other assasin kind of games (they never mention someone that payed dragon quest,atelier ryza,final fantasy,animal crossing or similar)
The columbine massacre just reinforce that point (avid players of mortal kombat,doom,quake) to reinforce that point most shooting and similar are caused by players of shooting games (last time a shooting happened was a player of overwatch worse of all blizzard tried to put a lid on that because he was a high rank player)
