because space is expanding infinitely and if u put oxygen in it, the oxygen would spread out at a high rate of speed while space was expanding and the oxygen would spread out so fast it would be as if there was no oxygen, and even if u put alll the oxygen every into space to where u could breathe 1. that would be extremely hard 2. it would only last like 0.0000000000002 seconds before it would spread out again.
