well idk if my mom has issues with me listening to other music, but if she did, I’d bring up that she literally likes a song that has the lyrics something along the lines of “my heart is a mat for the devil to dance on” lol

My dad got mad at me listening to death bed by pow fu because "it didn't song like it was from a Christian perspective" EXCUSE ME BUT YOU LITERALLY HAVE A SONG WITH LYRICS SOMETHING LIKE "go and break that b****'s heart"

o dear... occasionally i hear cussing in songs my family listens to, but nothing really extreme like what you hear next door sometimes. (I’ve heard some really bad stuff that way, bc lots of my neighbors are party freaks [which kinda makes me a bit jealous] lol)

I like sad songs and beautiful songs sometimes, as well as party songs, and I don’t believe every song a Christian makes has to be about God for them to count as a Christian. Ig it’s just parents want to protect u tho, bc it’s hard to find modern artists that aren’t Christian that aren’t gonna go insane. So that’s why i basically do thorough research on artists b4 i go listen to all their music if i like them.
