Hopefully Araki will continue with the whole "Alternate Universe thing". Maybe Part 9's JoJo would be the AU equivalent of Joseph.

Yes, since Jotaro is essentially in the Steel Ball Run universe with Yoshikage Kira and Kei Nijimura.

I know Kei Nijimura and Yoshikage Kira are from JoJolion. The JoJo wiki says that the AU is called the Steel Ball Run Universe.

Since it's an alternate universe, they don't have to follow the same name order as in the original universe.

Yeah. Just imagine if the SBR equivalent of "Stone Ocean" sets everything back to the original universe. (Then it all starts again and repeats in a never-ending loop)

Interesting idea. Then again, Araki is getting older, and he might want to stop after part 10-12. I'm not entirely sure, but if he did that, that would be epic.

Btw, I haven't read part 8 at all and just heard people talking about how stands can be used. Has part 8 had it's main antagonist revealed yet?

I haven't read it either. I know I seem like an expert in JoJo, but I'm really not. I've only seen the first two parts of anime lol.

Sadly, Araki sated that the new universe is completely separate, and is just a straight up reboot. He has no plans for returning to the original universe. (Found on a reddit post after a google search)
