Yeah, I totally get this. When I went to a therapist she didn't really tell me anything different than I'd been hearing from my parents for a long time. Sad/worried? Try not to think about it! Change your "self-talk"! A couple of my therapy appointments literally made me cry because if an actual therapist couldn't help me, could anything? But getting help just doesn't always work, and that's ok. (To be fair, though, the people suggesting it in the past probably didn't know you'd already tried, so there's that.)
