why do people say they were playing bedrock if its the main edition of the game.

Bc most people play on Java

Still, Java is popular, so people call it by name (Java. Bedrock, Pocket, etc.)

yes, for all MC screens it only says Minecraft. On Java it doesn't say "Minecraft Java" or "Minecraft Pocket Edition"

I was playing in server and my game lagged up. I froze and got kicked. I tried to join back and it wouldn't let me in. Then i tried again and it said that i was already in the server, even though I was clearly on the title screen.

Another time I was playing minecraft and I was fighting someone, and they (I kid you not) turned completely invisible, teleported behind me, and one shotted me. I have no idea what happened, but I was lagging really bad. My game was completely fine until we started to fight.

Oh yeah, and don't forget about the kid who hit me through three blocks.

well, i didn't die, but it was pretty rare

I had started a survival jungle seed to check it out. The seed sucked, so i went to creative and started building a cool base. Earlier, I had tamed a parrot in survival. It started to rain, but i payed no notice.
my volume was down, oblivious to the rain when the saddest chat had popped up: "parrot was struck by lightning". I WAS DUMBFOUNDED! that was one of the rarest things that could ever happen, small hit box, small chance, right? All he left was a tiny feather...
*Sigh* it was really hard. i deleted the world right after that in grief.

Maybe not weird, but coincidental, I placed a torch on some gravel I was standing on and it all came crashing down into some lava. That is why I now stay away from gravel when I place a torch.

No, a cave that I tried to live in.

Last year, around the 1.15 update, i was working on a base. I was in the over-world, but suddenly, I got struck by lightning. I a panic to run to the nearest river, I got hit by a trident by a drowned that was on the beach nearby. I ran the opposite direction to my carrot farm with water source blocks. I jumped in and got the fire off of me. I had about 2 hearts left. I ate some food to restore my hunger, and next thing i knew, I was on fire. I forgot about the lightning strike earlier which started to spread. I died 2 seconds later when the fire burned me.

Its more of a bad luck type of death rather than a weird one but whatever, thats my story. Whats yours? Let me know :)

one time I was walking, and i got reduced to low health by a mob attack, so i ran towards my base, and as i was running i walked over a sapling, and it then grew into a tree and soficated me

Once a dude hit me THROUGH A STONE WALL and killed me

back in 1.13 i had tamed a parrot sat him and went on a mining trip when i came back up and unsat him he just died there was no chat message no noise just death so i made him a grave and when i finished a thunderstorm started and lightning struck the grave the scared the s**t out of me but what killed me is when the lightning struck it spawned the four horsemen of the apocylipse and THAT killed me the whole story was weird

Are you sure you didnt have cookies in your hand when u clicked him? Maybe he died instantly from it bc of low hp?

i was playing on bedrock and i accidently put my fireworks in my of hand to see if they work when im using my elytra (it does not ) so i tried and when i clicked to use to fireworks i instantly died and the chat said the i fell out of the world even to i was in the overworld

(This was bedrock edition) This one time I was playing on my survival world and it took me about 12 hours to get to the end
although I did have a hard time finding the nether fortress, and a warped forest for ender pearls
I was about to die and my armor was almost broken (still had enough iron on me) I managed to get 14 ender pearls, as well as 6 blaze rods, I set up shop for the next 2 nights in the side of a desert mountain when I went searching for the stronghold none of my eyes of ender broke which was very surprising, when I got into the stronghold it took me about 10 minutes to get to the portal room, I had an extra eye when I filled it, I spawned covered in endstone (aka: the usual), I traveled over to my first tower, towered up with cobblestone, when I was about to take out my first tower I forgot to use my shield when the ender dragon hit me and sent me flying, I didn't have fast enough reflexes to switch to my hay bale in time, so I died of fall damage, I didn't set my spawn point in the end portal room so I just gave up, It was my first time getting to the end legitimately and I was so close to beating the game for the first time... it's been 6 years since I got Minecraft...

I had to tell you this even though this death is also because I suck at aiming with bows and crossbows
May not be weird... but it is a hard death for me...

So my story was when I spawned (the update was 1.9) I spawned in a forest. I did the usual, getting stone and food then about ten minutes later I noticed that the leaves were all either jungle tiaga dark Oak but the biome was still a birch forest. Also I seemed to notice so.e of the trees where quite tall but I'm pretty sure thats a feature

Mine was when i was falling from a place, but i forgot i didn't have a water bucket, and i had finished a project, and i had a ladder and, i tried to mlg. Its not that weird but the death message said fell off a ladder...

A weird one was when i had done redstone and i was trying to make a player launcher for my elytra, and i got hit into a wall and after i flew out, i was hit by a trident and i got burned from my campfire and died.

fell into a ravine. died. went back to get my stuff. the stuff didn't render into my inventory. left. went back in (had to wait 5 mins) skeleton got me down to half a heart, wasn't prepared, but was stuck in water, so i tried my shield. died.

Fire resistance and died in lava

My weirdest death was when I was walking and then I just died of nothing
