So my mom was 16 or 17 and she worked at the snack bar thing at Walmart. They sold hotdogs, salads, French fries, just basically anything you could microwave or didn't have to cook
They had this system where one person would help someone in line the next worker would take the next person in line ect
She happened to be working with an African American woman who was a couple years older than my mom
The African American worker takes an African American woman in line while my mom takes the person behind her
All of a sudden the African American woman in line starts yelling at my mom saying she's racist. My mom had never seen this woman before so being the 16 year old she was starts panicking and the person she was working with just told her to take a break and she'd handle it.
I didn't hear anymore of the story after that. Sometimes I wonder how those people are doing.
Moral of the story: don't work at Walmart if you're not prepared for different people.
