In the video this still is from, she is making a defense of Biden claiming he has exceeded her expectations despite his betraying campaign promises on a $15/hr minimum wage, healthcare reform, and student debt cancellation among others. The left detests Biden as he was the architect of mass incarceration and a significant participant in the launch of the Iraq war. AOC continues to reveal herself as a bad faith actor and so the left is no longer holding back criticism of her. The brainslug (from futurama) is a riff on the novel Friday by robert heinlein, a US scifi author from the 50s who came up with the original brainslug trope which invasion of the body snatchers was based on, as was a startrek story arc in The Next Generation, as were brain slugs from futurama.
