My science teacher is amazing- she knows and accepts me for being trans :^

Anywho. So everytime i have her hour, i feel comfortable talking about lgbtq+ stuff, even around my classmates.
But we had a substitute one day.
And for some reason gender came up.
"There are two genders," she says.
"Actually, there are three sexes. Male, female, intersex. And then there's a lot more genders."
"No. They make up all this."
If you look really closely at it, she's not wrong. That's kind of the point because stupid humanity wants to assign gender and sex.

Also during my boaters safety class, our instructor was like "Check mark ONE (male or female), not both or neither. I still believe there are two genders."
People are just- ew sometimes.
I still checked off male~
But my friend made me erase it and check female.

That's nice your science teacher accept you!! But yeah some people are just close minded and stuff

This is awesome.

My ELA teacher has a non-bianary kid, and one day we were told to write about something we love, and everyone was like "My mom" "My cat" "My xbox" But I raised my hand, and said "Can I write about my girlfriend?" And my teacher looks at me and her face lights up
"Your lesbian?"
And I nodded, and the whole class started mumbling things like "Thats cool" "I wish I was brave like her."
And I felt so good that day. I actually felt proud.
