Well, the AI can only recreate and recombine what it reads. And since this specific AI is getting imgflip as its input and there are a lot of homophobic memes on imgflip and by comparison fairly few pro LGBTQ+ memes it just goes after the most common choice. The AI isn't homophobic. It doesn't know what words mean. Its results are exactly as homophobic as the part of the world it gets as input. These results are a direct reflection of what people post on here.
