The problem with all that is the word 'allegedly'. At that point it's just the word of one person vs. the word of another, and you can make good arguments for both sides:
On the one hand, the accuser could absolutely be telling the truth. Obviously Chauvin, as the world has seen, can't be declared as someone who would never do this.
On the other, this could be someone trying to score cheap points against an opponent who is down, so to speak. Chauvin is already hated, and this person could be looking for fifteen minutes of internet fame, or trying to score money out of the justice system.
Point is, we can't know for sure until some actual evidence for either side comes to light. 'Allegedly' falls hilariously short of the standard needed for a criminal case to even be launched. At the very least a full investigation is needed.
